What are the differences between the passes?

Casual pass = unlimited free play for any game, but can’t participate in any organized tournaments.

Single Game pass = unlimited free play for any game, plus participation in ONE game – Join the Smash Bros tournaments OR the Mario Kart tournaments OR the Towerfall tournaments.

All Access Pass = unlimited free play, plus participation in ANY organized tournament for any game. No Limits!

Why do I have to pay extra to play in tournaments?

At past Towerfest events, attendance has been as high as 75 people, which is wonderful. If all 75 people wanted to play in every tournament we run, we would never finish any of them in time. The increased cost for tournament entries helps keep the tournament pool small enough that we can usually finish them during the course of our event.

Can I challenge others even if I'm not participating in a tournament?

Yes! All casual gamers can challenge eachother to matches and even make up their own mini tournaments, they just won’t be able to join the tournament that is orgnaized by the Towerfest admins.

Additionally, the scheduled tournaments may temporarily bump casual gamers off of their systems in order to complete necessary tournament matches should we be pressed for time.

Are there cash prizes for tournament winners?

Past Towerfest events have featured prizes of varying value, but generally speaking, tournament winners should expect to win some bragging rights and some extra goods from the snack stand, but not much more than that.

The goal of towerfest is to enjoy eachother as humans through the medium of casual and competitive gaming, reagrdless of skill level. Even though we respect and appreciate the high level of skill some of our participants bring, we want to keep fun and connection the top priority instead of winning prize money.

Do children need to be accompanied by a parent?

Children age 8 and under should certainly be accompanied by a parent, or guardian for the duration of their time at towerfest.

All Children under 18 require parental consent to particpate.

Are there Adult volunteers present?

Yes. A minimum of 8 adult volunteers who are Plan to Protect Compliant will be on site at all times during the event.

Can I bring my own system and equipment?

Yes. When registering for admission, you can note whether you plan to bring your own personal gaming equipment along to Towerfest. You will have an opportunity to mark the equipment, and portable equipment can be stored safely at our snack stand when not in use.

We do have video surveillance on site, however, it is crititcal to note that participants bring and use their own equipment at their own risk.

All software or games that are operated on personal devices must be age appropriate and approved by an admin beforehand.
